Available Vacancies GISCO is actively recruiting for the following crucial positions during this walk-in drive:
- Fire Alarm Technician – Maintenance: Responsible for the routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of complex fire alarm systems.
- Fire Alarm Technician-cum Driver: A dual role requiring technical expertise in fire alarm systems along with the ability to safely transport equipment and personnel.
- Fire Fighting Technician – Projects: Tasked with the installation, testing, and commissioning of comprehensive fire fighting equipment on new project sites.
- Assistant Fire Technician – (FF/FA): Supporting senior technicians in the daily maintenance and installation of both Fire Fighting (FF) and Fire Alarm (FA) systems.
- Light & Heavy Vehicle Driver: Ensuring the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of project materials and staff across various operational sites.
- TIG Welder: Executing high-precision welding tasks for piping and structural frameworks related to fire safety infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities & Job Description While specific daily tasks will vary based on the position you are applying for, all technical staff are expected to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence. Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Technicians will conduct rigorous diagnostic tests, replace faulty wiring or sensors, and ensure that all life-safety systems comply strictly with UAE civil defense regulations. TIG Welders must read and interpret technical blueprints to deliver flawless structural joints. Drivers will maintain meticulous vehicle logs, adhere strictly to UAE traffic laws, and ensure the operational readiness of their assigned fleet. Across all roles, maintaining a safe, hazard-free working environment is the absolute top priority.
Requirements – Experience and Education
- Technical Roles (Technicians & Welders): An ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Safety engineering.
- Driver Roles: A valid UAE driving license (Light or Heavy as per the applied category) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in the respective field, preferably within the GCC region or specifically in the UAE.
- Communication: Good basic communication skills in English to read technical manuals, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Availability: Candidates who can join immediately will be given the highest preference during the selection process.
